Community

Buzzzzzz…….. The buzz on the street is that the Hornets finished the 2004 Fall AYSO Soccer season undefeated! The team played in the Under 10 Boys League at Lakeshore Park . Chad Schollaert and Ben Johnson who work at The Trust Company are the proud coaches of the Hornets. Chad and Ben grew up playing soccer and have coached AYSO soccer teams over the last few seasons.

The Hornets had some players from past teams that had been coached by Chad and Ben. There were also a number of new faces on the team this year. Some of the players have played for as many as five years and others had never set foot on a soccer field before the season began.

With a powerful offense and a well-balanced defense, the Hornets were an unstoppable force on the field. They scored a lot of goals and rarely allowed the opposing team a goal. Most importantly, the boys had a lot of fun at practice and during the games. After another season of working with such great kids, Chad and Ben are looking forward to coaching again in the Spring.
